--- title: "GPT-6 in free ChatGPT: in-chat tools for small businesses" description: "Try calculators, forms and comparisons with GPT-6 and Intelligent UI. What free ChatGPT includes and when you need an agent connected to your systems." author: "Carlos García" published: 2026-10-13 updated: 2026-10-13 language: en human_url: "https://kiia.cloud/blog/gpt-6-free-chatgpt-tools-small-business/" --- > In 60 seconds: GPT-6 with Intelligent UI lets you request interactive tools inside ChatGPT, including on the free plan with Luna. A small business can try a quote calculator, organize requirements or compare proposals. Turning that result into a business operation requires decisions about where it is saved, who can approve it and what happens when a connection fails. ## What arrived and who gets it [OpenAI's October 7 announcement](https://openai.com/index/gpt-6-for-everyone/) brings Intelligent UI to Chat: graphics, buttons, forms, interactive diagrams and small tools inside the conversation. Responses can still use text when it is more useful. | Plan | Announced model for Chat | Rollout start | | --- | --- | --- | | Free | GPT-6 Luna | October 8, 2026 | | Go | GPT-6 Luna | October 8, 2026 | | Plus | GPT-6 Sol | October 7, 2026 | | Pro | GPT-6 Sol | October 7, 2026 | | Business | GPT-6 Sol | October 7, 2026 | | Enterprise | GPT-6 Sol | October 7, 2026, subject to admin settings | These dates mark the start of a gradual rollout. The [October system card](https://deploymentsafety.openai.com/gpt-6-october/vision) distinguishes these versions from the earlier ones still used in Work and Codex. This release changes Chat only. ## How to try Intelligent UI Use the web or a supported updated mobile app. Older macOS and Windows desktop apps do not support these features. According to the [official help page](https://help.openai.com/en/articles/20001354-gpt-6-and-other-models-in-chatgpt), Intelligent UI works at Instant through Extra High where your plan supports them; it excludes Pro effort, which uses GPT-6 Astra. A Pro subscription and selecting Pro effort are separate choices. Intelligent UI has no separate quota. Model, tool and plan limits still apply; this does not make every feature unlimited. When checked on October 13, the help page still referred to GPT-5.6 Luna for Free/Go, while the announcement assigns GPT-6 Luna. The table follows the announcement; check what your account has enabled. ## Three tools a small business can request today The following examples are illustrative prompt ideas. ChatGPT's output format may vary; these are not demonstrations of system integrations or measured results. Start with fictional data and review the rules before using business information. ### 1. A preliminary quote calculator A service business can explore how a proposal changes when hours, materials or markup change. Making the assumptions visible helps a person review the estimate. Try asking: > Create an interactive preliminary quote calculator with hours, hourly rate, materials cost and markup on cost. Start with empty fields. Calculate subtotal = hours × rate + materials and price = subtotal × (1 + markup / 100). Show the formula and reject negative values. Exclude taxes, discounts and availability. Label the result as a draft for commercial review. Markup on cost and margin on selling price use different calculations. Check that the tool uses the former, as requested. Try empty fields, zero hours and decimals; recalculate one case independently. The final quote needs current prices, approved terms and, where relevant, ERP stock data. Displaying a calculator in the chat does not retrieve those inputs. Saving the proposal and sending it to a customer requires connections and approval rules. ### 2. A requirements intake form Before pricing an integration, a team can organize what it needs to learn about the process: source system, destination, owner, frequency and exceptions. > Build an interactive form to capture an administrative process. Ask for the task, systems involved, input data, expected outcome, approval owner and cases needing human intervention. Do not request credentials or personal data. Allow "not defined" answers and generate a summary with outstanding questions, without filling in missing information. Check that the summary preserves the user's uncertainties and distinguishes the process owner from the person approving an action. The draft can support a scoping meeting. If each response must create a CRM opportunity, assign a salesperson or open a task, that step needs implementation. A form inside a conversation also does not, by itself, establish a public customer intake channel. ### 3. A proposal comparison A small business evaluating vendors can bring criteria into a view that lets it explore alternatives while keeping missing data visible. > Create an interactive comparison of three fictional proposals. Use scope, timeline, support, dependencies and stated cost as criteria. Let me enter the values. Show the criteria side by side and mark anything not provided. If you add scoring, keep weights visible and explain the calculation. Do not invent capabilities or automatically recommend a purchase. Check each entry against the original proposal. If you use scores, change the weights to see how much the conclusion depends on your preferences. Missing information should remain visible; a tidy cell does not confirm that a vendor offered that feature. ## What is missing for CRM, ERP or WhatsApp operations Our practical reading of the release is that Intelligent UI provides a working interface inside the chat. On its own, it does not persist the result in your systems or perform actions in a CRM, ERP or WhatsApp. An account may have other connected tools or apps; those connections and their permissions are configured separately. Conversation history may retain a draft. That does not establish a saved opportunity, an approved quote or a delivered message. A generated interface also does not define role permissions or provide production-agent traceability by itself. | In-chat result | Work needed to bring it into business operations | | --- | --- | | Preliminary price | Retrieve authorized rates, validate and save the quote | | Form summary | Identify the customer, prevent duplicates and create the CRM record | | Comparison | Retain the proposals and record the responsible person's approval | | Message draft | Verify recipient and authorization; send through a connected channel and record the outcome | A working system needs a way to establish who authorized each action, which data it used and whether it actually completed. It also needs retries that avoid duplicate operations and a path for handing exceptions to a person. These are requirements for the workflow we build around the model, rather than guarantees we attribute to the Intelligent UI announcement. ## When to move to a connected agent A ChatGPT prototype can help explore rules, prepare drafts and review alternatives with a person. Consider an agent when the process repeats and its result must be recorded or trigger an action in another system. You can use the form to discover which fields an opportunity needs. The next step could be a bounded workflow: read the CRM contact, prepare the opportunity, request approval and save the record. Define success as a correct, auditable record. Also test a duplicate contact, a rejected approval and a failed connection. The announcement assigns GPT-6 Luna to Free and Go, with rollout starting October 8, 2026. Sol is for Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise. Check the access actually enabled in your account. ### Does Intelligent UI have an additional quota? It has no separate quota. Model, tool and plan limits still apply. It works on the web and supported updated apps; it is unavailable with Pro effort. ### Does a ChatGPT form already update my CRM? Intelligent UI alone does not connect the form to a CRM. Saving an opportunity requires an authorized integration, data validation and a record of the write.
